Explain a complex product in a user-friendly way.

As a globally renowned high-tech brand, DJI has always adhered to applying technology to benefit humanity in its products. The DJI Zenmuse L2 is an expert-class, industry-grade High-Precision Aerial LiDAR System, whose applications include but are not limited to land surveying and mapping, electricity, forestry, infrastructure management, etc., surpassing that of general consumer-grade products. In terms of functions, the Zenmuse L2 builds upon the previous L1, with significant upgrades. Explaining the product features in a presentable, understandable way, both in story production and visual delivery, is the main challenge of this project.
After thoroughly learning the product’s usage, we developed the story and scripts with two focuses: the product’s professionalism and the way it resolves real problems in operation. Coherent with the people-oriented corporate culture of DJI and its design principle of transforming complex technology into easy-to-use devices, we opted for a communication strategy in which the person who understands the product best would deliver the most effective explanations. We therefore invited the senior marketing executive of DJI to provide clear and concise explanations of the product while showcasing the radar effects and imaging results produced by Zenmuse L2 during actual operation.
